Barley, Potato & Amaranth Stew
crockpot, low-cal, main dish, vegetables
1.50 cup barley
1.00 large potato; peel, chop into bite - si
0.50 cup amaranth
0.50 teaspoon garlic powder; or to taste
1.00 tablespoon parsley; or to taste
0.50 teaspoon oregano; or to taste
0.50 teaspoon marjoram; or to taste
2.00 cup water; to cover,
1 keep adding water as necessa ry
1.00 cup corn, frozen
0.50 onion; to taste
Recipe by: Reggie Dwork Tossed everything in the crockpot and started it on low. Added water as necessary to make it thick like a stew. I added a bit of salt at the end after I had put it in my bowl. Had this with cracked wheat bread...what a great meal!!
